Love is in the air across the Realms once more.

The event will run from February 8th – 21st and brings two new quests to players that will help them find a heart:

• A Matter of the Heart: This quest will give players of all realms the chance find the imp, Russel, near the gates of their capital cities, ready to offer some interesting tasks from the local imp's union in return for a Lawn Cupid trophy, experience and coin.
• The Keeping Company: This quest will be offered to characters level 45 and above and will have a unique challenge for players in Albion, Midgard and Hibernian.  As a reward, players will receive a Tiny Compatriot Crate trophy, experience and coin.
• The Valentine’s Traditions: These quests will offer three old style quests which were part of the original Dark Age of Camelot Valentine’s Day content. Players will be able to complete the quest up to three times, which is based on the number of times the original quest has been issued online.  Players will be rewarded with a Hearts Cloak, Heart-Shaped Box, experience and coin.
  

Update - 2/3/2010 4:15 PM EST - This issue has been resolved. Players are now able to transfer characters normally.

While the first half of 1.101 goes to Pendragon, I wanted to communicate with you all what the Content portion of this and the next patch or so entails. We’ve gone through various bits of what we deemed high priority feedback and implemented changes based on that.

Patch 1.101 is now live on Pendragon for your testing enjoyment. Please be sure to check out the full notes on the Pendragon Patch Note page! Highlights of 1.101 include:

• Several class balance changes to the Druid Class.
• The base RP Reward for Tower and Keep captures has been increased!
• Atlantean Glass can now be found more abundantly throughout the realms!

We will be bringing all servers offline tomorrow, 1/28/2010, at 8:00 AM EST for maintenance. During this downtime we will be implementing Patch 1.101 on Pendragon for testing. Be sure to check back on the Pendragon patch note page tomorrow for the test notes.

Also, in our continuing efforts to allow more concurrent players on the Ywain server we are proud to announce that we will again be increasing the population cap. As always we will continue to monitor the play environment on Ywain for stability issues.

At this time we anticipate that all servers will be back online no later than 1:00 PM EST. Please be sure to check back on the Herald for up to the minute information regarding this downtime.

We have the following Hot Fixes for you today:

Bug Fixes

• Newly purchased Draconic Essence and Sanguine Stones can now be traded. Please note that you cannot return Stones for refunds anymore.
• A rare occurrence with Agnes getting stuck has been addressed.
• The Gem of Zephyr, Greater Aerial and War Pick of Detonation will now drop properly for Albion and Midgard.
  

We are currently performing maintenance on the Mythic Account Center. During this maintenance window all account related services, including character transfers and the in-game appeal function, will be unavailable. At this time we anticipate that this maintenance will be completed no later than 11:00 AM EST.

Since returning from the Holidays we have been actively working on a solution for population issues on Ywain. Last week we implemented a fix to address some problems revolving around stability issues due to high population. We are proud to state that we will be increasing the population cap to allow more players on Ywain. Of course, we will continue to monitor the play environment for stability issues.

As a result, we will be bringing Ywain offline tomorrow (1/20/2010) morning at 8:00 AM EST for maintenance. At this time we anticipate that Ywain will be back online no later than 1:00 PM EST.
